How does your church decorate their stage for Easter? I'd love to see any pics you have of your church stage on Easter! Here's some ideas for decorating it:

The cross is the most important Easter decoration. It is a symbol of Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins. Why not enlist the help of a skilled woodworker to create a large cross for your church podium? You may also want to hang a crown of thorns on the cross (someone crafty in your church may be able to make one) or a white cloth draped over the cross.

Next are the Easter lilies. Easter lilies have become synonymous with Easter. Put Easter lilies in vases and place them on the church stage, below the cross, and beneath the pulpit on the podium.

How to get church members to volunteer for your tech team:

When you are trying to bring in church volunteers to be a part of your tech team, don’t focus on the technical aspects. Instead, concentrate on how being a part of the tech team will contribute to the church as a whole. If it wasn’t for someone on the tech team operating the pa system, not everyone could hear the message loud and clear. It is because a tech team volunteer is running the video projector with song lyrics being projected that even guests are able to sing along to the worship songs, and not just hear them. The tech team is a vital part of the church, let potential church tech volunteers know this.

Did you know a podium and a pulpit are not the same thing?

Like many words, the word podium is derived from the Greek language. In Greek, podium means foot. This is an easy way to remember that podiums are something you stand on. You can’t stand behind a podium.
