OUR CONSTITUTION! Please read

Welcome to The Christian Metal Room (aka The New CMR) please take a few minutes and review our constitution.

1. By accessing "The Christian Metal Room" (herein after "we" "us" "our" "Christian Metal Room you agree that this constitution is the Supreme Law Of The Forum and agree to our laws and bi-laws. If you do not agree with our laws please do not access or use The Christian Metal Room. However if you have any cause to think a rule is unconstitutional you may address that with either myself Mackenzie (Your Fearless Leader) or my Right Hand Man - Rabid Rob. We may am mend this constitution at any time and we will do our best to inform you of any changes made. So please continue to stay abreast of this Supreme Law.

2. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, porn links to sites containing porn or open links with references to porn sites. This includes site names, broken urls and hints to site names. This also includes images used for personal avatars and signature, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually oriented, or any other material that may violate any laws in Canada or The States or any other country where The New CMR is hosted or international law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned with the notification of your ISP. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcement of our laws and bi-laws. You agree that The Christian Metal Room has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic as we see fit.

3. We are a forum run by Christians however you do not have to be a Christian to post here. In fact we love it when Non-Christians come here to hang out with us. However you are expected to be respectful. Postings attacking another person's faith or bashing Non-Christians or seekers will not be tolerated. Any posts that are deemed to be directed in hate or malice toward any individual or group may be removed/closed without notification.  It's okay to disagree with someone's point of view. (even Rob and I don't agree on everything - but on core matters we do agree) we just ask no flame wars name calling etc..  Agree to disagree agreeably. Violators will be warned by either Rob and/or myself. Repeat offenders will be banned without further explanation.

4. We are a "Seeker-Sensitive" or "Attractional" Forum. Christians: Please try to avoid the use of "Christianese" aka words or sayings that only Christians understand. We want to be welcoming to everybody especially non-believers and seekers and do not with to be a "Religious Club" just for Christians. Our passions are to develop friendships with people and compel them to check out the awesome music we discuss and to check out Christianity.

5. No spam. Please promote your band/work/ radio show etc in the Cross Promotion Room.

6. No posting links to pirated or copywritten material.

7. The New CMR does not endorse any political candidate.

8. Profanity is permitted here however please be mindful of young children who may access this site. Comments containing swearing may be removed at our discretion.

9. Posts and threads we deem unconstitutional may result in disciplinary action up to and including tarring and feathering, 10 lashes with a wet noodle, and (as a last resort) permanent banning.

10. Rob and I are dedicated to making this a fun place where we can all just hang out and talk. Our door is always open. We are approachable, fun loving and compassionate ( well at least I am anyway lol) Get to know us. If you're new please introduce yourself to us on The Roll Call thread (Discussions Of Life Room). If you are going thru hard times somebody or something is bothering you come see us. We are different from the other forums. We care about our people so please message Rob or myself at any time.

11. Finally we (speaking of Rob and myself) believe that Christianity is a relationship with God. God is utterly Holy and we humans are sinful (I am a dirty rotten sinner). God cannot be in the presence of sin. Therefore sin separates us from any relationship with God. However God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ The God Man (100% God and 100% Man - not 50/50 nor a blending) to bridge the gap between us sinners and God. When you appropriate this by faith alone apart from any good works you are saved. If you would like to learn more about what it means to be a Christian message Rob or myself.
